The Summer Breeze is taking place every year since 1997 (except 1998) Metal festival in Central Franconia and currently ( 2011) approximately 39,000 visitors one of the largest in Germany. The festival usually takes place in the week of August 15 from Thursday to Saturday.
History
The event took place until 2005 in Abtsgmuend near Aalen, where it attracted in 2006, 40 km away Dinkelsbühl. Each year, over three days about 100 bands on three stages, with the main stage ( Main Stage ) and the Second Stage ( Pain Stage ) directly next to each other, so that the bands can play alternately, without affecting each other. This causes no overlaps even longer waiting times. The third stage (party tent) is some distance away and is noisy technically isolated by the tent. Bands
The focus of the band selection is a mix of death metal, hardcore and metalcore. But also bands from other directions Metal, Hard Rock, Folk Rock, as well as medieval rock are regularly represented. Sister project
