Sun Jihai

Sun Jihai (Chinese孙继海; born September 30, 1977 in Dalian) is a Chinese football player.

Career

The right defender started his professional career in 1995 with his hometown club, Dalian Wanda, where he completed 71 Official matches, scoring one goal. 1998 moved the Chinese to Europe to Crystal Palace. After a year in England Sun went back to Dalian, which changed its name now under the name Dalian Shide. From February 2002 until the summer of 2008 he played at Manchester City in the English Premier League. In 2008 he moved to Sheffield United, before he turned his back on England after one season and returned to their homeland. Currently plays Sun in the Chengdu Blades.

Sun Jihai has played 72 times in the Chinese national football team and scored a goal here. His international debut Sun on 6 December 1996 against Uzbekistan.
