Sunday Adelaja

Sunday Adelaja Sunkanmi ( born May 28, 1967 in Ijebu -Ode at Idomila, Ogun, Nigeria ) is a Christian preacher mass. He is the founder and pastor of the charismatic Protestant Embassy of God (Ukrainian: Посольство благословенного Царства Божого для всіх народів ) in Kiev, capital of Ukraine.

The church claims to have about 20,000 members in Kiev alone. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church, and various anti-Western political groups have set Adelaja criticized repeatedly in the past. It is him above all accused of being a foreign body in the Ukraine and to contribute with its activities to the " Westernization " of Ukraine.

Life

Adelaja grew up in the village Idomila at Ijebu -Ode in Nigeria. He converted to Christianity in 1986. After finishing school, he studied journalism at the Belarusian State University in Minsk. After graduating, he devoted himself to establishing his church.
