Sungurlu

Sungurlu is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Çorum. The city is located about 70 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital of Çorum on the connecting road from Ankara to Samsun.

The district is located in the southwest of the province. It is bordered on the south by the province of Yozgat to the west by the province Kırıkkale, on the north by Bayat, Uğurludağ and the central district and on the east by Alaca and Boğazkale. The city lies on the River Sungurlu Budaközü Çayı, a tributary of the Delice Irmağı, which in turn flows into the Kizilirmak.
