Superbird-C2

Superbird 7 communication is the seventh satellite of the Space Communications Corporation, a company SKY Perfect JSAT Group of Japanese.

Superbird 7 was promoted on 14 August 2008 together with the television satellite AMC 21 with an Ariane 5 rocket from the spaceport Guiana Space Centre in Kourou into space. It will replace the eleven -year-old satellite Superbird C and was renamed after the start in Superbird C2. The satellite was built by the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation based on the DS2000 satellite bus.
