Susan Clark

Susan Clark ( born March 8, 1940 in Sarnia, Ontario) is a Canadian actress and film producer.

Life and achievements

Clark grew up in Toronto. She studied at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and made his debut in an episode of the television series The Benny Hill Show from the year 1965. In the action film Coogan's big bluff, she played the role of the probation officer Julie Roth, with the policemen Walt Coogan ( Clint Eastwood ) flirting.

In 1976, Clark was awarded for her starring role in the television drama Babe ( 1975) Emmy Award. The next year it was for the biopic Amelia Earhart (1976 ) nominated for this award again in the role of aviation pioneer of the same name. In 1975 she was nominated as Female new star for the Golden Apple Award. In 1985 she received for her performance in the television series Webster in an episode from 1983 was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. In 1996, she was honored for her role in the Canadian film drama -selling Life ( 1995) nominated for a Gemini Award.

Clark produced at the beginning of the 1980s, some TV movies. In 2006, she appeared in the Manitoba Theatre Centre on the play The Retreat from Moscow.

Clark was married in 1970 to 1973, Bob Joseph. In 1980 she married actor Alex Karras, with whom she has a daughter born in 1980.
