Susan Miller, Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer

Susan Elizabeth Miller, Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer, of Chilthorne Domer in the County of Somerset ( born January 1, 1954) is a British politician of the Liberal Democrats, which is a life Peeress member of the House of Lords since 1998.

Life

Susan Miller worked after school in publishing and worked for publishers David & Charles, Weidenfeld & Nicolson and Penguin Books, before she worked as an independent bookseller for Sherborne and Yeovil. In the early 1990s, she began her political career in local politics and was for the Liberal Democrats between 1991 and 1998 Member of the Council of the District of South Somerset and most recently from 1996 to 1998 and chairman of this committee. At the same time it was between 1997 and 2005 also member of the Council of the County of Somerset.

By Letters Patent of 28 July 1998 was raised to the peerage as Susan Miller Life Peeress with the title Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer, of Chilthorne Domer in the County of Somerset.
