Susan Sideropoulos
Susan Sideropoulos (Greek Souzan Sidiropoulou Σούζαν Σιδηροπούλου, born October 14, 1980 in Hamburg ) is a German actress and presenter.
Life
The last name Sideropoulos is Greek and means " child of the blacksmith " ( σιδεράς, SIDERAS ); he goes to her Greek father back ( in Greek her surname would however Sidiropoulou pronounced, in the manner customary for women genitive form). Her mother was born in Israel as a child of German Jewish refugees. Sideropoulos is married to her childhood friend Jacob Shtizberg since the end of 2005. On June 4, 2006, she married according to Jewish rite. In March 2010 Sideropoulos and Shtizberg parents of their first son. 20 August 2011 their second son was born.
Career
After leaving school, she studied acting at the Hamburg Stage School Dance & Drama. From 28 February 2001 to August 11, 2011 they played at Good times, bad times, the role of Verena Koch. Since autumn 2005 Sideropoulos moderated as a guest presenter from time to time together with Henry Gründler the comedy news show Friday night news on RTL. From 7 January to 8 April 2006, she moderated the 14 - day exchange with Ole Tillmann the music show Top of the Pops on RTL. On 18 December 2006 Sideropoulos was seen in a supporting role in In the Name of the Law. As of May 14, 2007, she participated in the second season of the dancing show Let's Dance, which she won with her partner Christian Polanc on 30 June 2007. In October 2007, she was nominated at the Nick Kids' Choice Awards in the category favorite actress. In December 2013 she appeared as a contestant on "Let's Dance - Let 's Christmas" on.
Volunteering
Susan Sideropoulos is an ambassador of the Christian Child and Youth Office The Ark and supports RTL Children's House ARCHE in Berlin -Friedrichshain. She is also involved as an ambassador of the integrate contest " All Kids are VIPs" by the Bertelsmann Foundation. Sideropoulos is a vegetarian and posed for a Vegetarismuskampagne of PETA.
