Sutherland, Northern Cape

Sutherland is a small town in the Karoo Hoogland Municipality, Namakwa District, Northern Cape Province in the Republic of South Africa. It is located 120 kilometers north of Matjiesfontein. 2011 Sutherland had 2,836 inhabitants. Is named the city after Reverend Henry Sutherland from Worcester.
Attractions
Main attraction is about 20 kilometers outside lying Southern African Large Telescope ( SALT).
