Suwaibou Sanneh

Suwaibou Sanneh ( born October 30, 1990 in Soma ) is a track and field athlete from the West African nation of Gambia. He runs the short distance over 100 and 200 meters. Early in his career he took part in competitions in the 400 -meter run.

Life

After attending primary school Sanneh in 2004 moved to the Gambia Senior Secondary School in Banjul, where his athletic talent was discovered and promoted. He has participated in numerous international competitions, winning several medals. In 2007, he ran the 100 meters in 10.53 seconds and was only 0.3 seconds over the national record, which was set up by Jaysuma Saidy Ndure.

At the Olympics 2008 he took part for the first time.

2008 Olympics

Suwaibou Sanneh took at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing in a contest:

  • In competitive 100 -meter run Sanneh was assigned to the first round of the first group. The competition he finished fifth in a time of 10.52 seconds. For a second round, he did not qualify, by all participants, he reached the 46th place.
