Suzanne Juyol

Suzanne Juyol ( born January 1, 1920 in Paris, † July 20, 1994 ibid ) was a French opera singer (soprano ).

Juyol studied singing at the Conservatoire de Paris. In 1942 she made ​​her debut at the Paris Opera as Édouard Lalo's opera Le Margared in Roi d' Ys on the side of Solange Renaux, Mario Altery and José Beckmans under the direction of conductor François Ruhlmann. Her breakthrough came in 1943 when she represented at the Paris Opera Germaine Lubin in the title role of Gabriel Fauré's Penelope and a guest performance at the Opera of Monte Carlo for the first time appeared as Carmen in Bizet's opera.

1946 debuted Juyol as Charlotte in Jules Massenet's Werther. Here she also appeared as Carmen, Tosca in Puccini 's opera and Santuzza in Cavalleria rusticana by Pietro Mascagni on.
