Sven Vanthourenhout

Sven Vanthourenhout ( born January 14, 1981 in Beernem ) is a Belgian cyclocross riders.

Sven Vanthourenhout won the Belgian U23 Championship in the 2000/2001 season and then was also cyclo-cross world champion in its class. In the 2003/2004 season he won his first race of the Super Prestige series in French Harnes. At the World Championships he made it for the first time in the elite ranks third. The following season he again won a Super Prestige race and for the first time a World Cup race in Aigle. In the overall standings, he was at the end in second place behind Sven Nys. At the World Championships in St. Wendel, he won bronze again.
