Svend Pri

Svend Andersen Pri ( born March 18, 1945 in Copenhagen, † June 8, 1983 ) was a Danish badminton player.

Career

Svend Pri was one of the greatest badminton player of the 1970s. He never made it at world and European championships, all the way up to the podium, but talked at all major decisions always have a word with. As the biggest successes he recorded winning the silver medal in the men's singles at the first badminton world championship 1977 and four titles at the All England. Svend Pri took his own life on June 8, 1983 itself an end.
