Svitlana Azarova

Svitlana Azarova, Ukrainian Світлана Азарова, Russian Светлана Азарова, ( born January 9, 1976 in Ukraine ) is a Ukrainian- Dutch composer of contemporary classical music.

Life

After graduating at the Pedagogical Institute as a music teacher in 1996, she went to the Conservatory of Odessa (now " State Music Academy Antonina W. Neschdanowa "). There she studied composition first with Oleksandr Krasotov and later to its completion in 2000 at Karmella Tsepkolenko.

In 2003, she received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Poland at the Music Academy in Warsaw Frédéric Chopin at Marcin Blazewicz for six months. In 2003, she was still the " Dresden Center for Contemporary Music " ( DZzM, today "European Centre for the Arts " ) invited on a project as part of the Dresden Festival of Contemporary Music participate ..

In 2005 she participated in the 9th International Academy for New Composition and Audio Art in Seefeld in Tirol. Head of this Academy were Bogusław Schaeffer and Richard Boulanger. After this Academy, she moved to the Netherlands and began postgraduate studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Theo Loevendie. You completed his studies with a Master of Music in December 2007.
