Sweden national under-19 football team

The Swedish U-19 national football team is a Swedish football junior national team. It represents the Kingdom of Sweden as a national team in the U-19 age group. Be eligible, players who have not yet completed their 19th year and have Swedish citizenship, in tournaments and related qualifiers, age is the first qualifier prevail.

History

The U-19 selection was introduced in 2002 and added a step in accordance with the U-18 national team. In the same year the Junior European Championships Junior U-18 has been discontinued and replaced by the U-19 European Championship. In the following years the Swedish youth team failed each participation.

Coach

The Swedish youth selections have partly no demarcation of the coach by age, but a year is looked after it passes through the different age classes of a coach or coaching duo. In recent years, therefore, among others, Peter Gerhardsson, Hans Lindbom, Claes Eriksson and Roland Larsson were responsible for the Swedish U-19 selection.
