Sweep (Software)

Sweep is a free audio editor and recorder for Linux, BSD and compatible platforms. It supports multi-channel editing, the Linux Audio Developer's Simple Plugin API ( LADSPA ) for effect plug -ins, as well as a number of audio formats, including MP3, WAV, AIFF, Speex and Vorbis. Sweep furthermore features called DJ functions such as pitch control and, by means of the Scrubby said stylus -like cursor, scratching.

The development of the software is supported by Pixar Animation Studios and the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation.
