Swinging Hannover

Swinging Hannover, a recently enercity swinging hannover, is a two-day international jazz festival and takes place once a year since 1967 in Hanover. Organisers of the festival is the Jazz Club Hannover, whose founder Michael Gehrke has launched the festival to life. The festival is divided into the Jazz Band Ball on the eve of Ascension Day in the domed hall of the Hannover Congress Centrum and in the open-air concert on the Trammplatz front of the New Town Hall on the morning of Ascension Day.
