Sydney Howard Smith

Sydney Howard Smith ( born February 3, 1872 in Stroud, † March 27, 1947 ) was an English tennis and badminton players.

Career

Sydney Smith won in badminton the inaugural men's singles competition at the All England 1900. During the same year he was also the tennis at Wimbledon in singles final, subject, however, there Reginald Doherty. With Frank Riseley he won the doubles at Wimbledon in 1902 and 1906. 1897 to 1906 he was Welsh tennis champion. 1905 and 1906 he was a member of the British Davis Cup team.
