The diocese Thamarasserry (Latin: Dioecesis Thamarasserrensis ) is a diocese of the united with the Roman Catholic Church Syro - Malabar Church, based in Thamarasserry in India.

History

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Constat non modo on 28 April 1986 cession of territory of the Eparchy of Tellicherry and was the Archdiocese of Ernakulam- Angamaly assumed as suffragan.

It was on 18 May 1995 part of the ecclesiastical province of archeparchy Tellicherry.
