Tabua is a comune ( Freguesia ) at the Portuguese circuit ( concelho ) of Ribeira Brava on the island of Madeira. 1,150 inhabitants live in it (as at 30 June 2011).

History

During the colonization of the island from the early 15th century was also Tabua. 1588, the independent community Tabua was created. It belonged in 1881 to the municipality of Ponta do Sol to belong to the newly created county of Ribeira Brava since 1914.
