Taczanowski

Taczanowski is the name of a derived from Wielkopolska noble family, which belongs to the community of the coat of arms Jastrzębiec. The Taczanowski family is named after the place Taczanowo in the former Krotoschin in the province of Posen, where the family was first mentioned in 1437.

Elevation to the rank of count Prussian ad personam on 17 May 1854 in Charlottenburg with a diploma from September 6, 1854 for the Royal Prussian chamberlain Alphonsus Taczanowski, Heir to Taczanowo.
