Taiyaki

Taiyaki (Japanese鯛 焼き, dt " sea Brass pastry " ) is a Japanese pastry in the shape of a fish that is baked on a griddle plate with fish shapes. Traditionally, it is filled with Anko, a sweet red bean paste, but with vanilla cream ( Custardcreme ) stuffed version also enjoys much popularity. There are other fillings, such as Matcha cream (cream with green tea), chocolate cream and others.

A similar dish is the Oyaki and Imagawayaki.
