Takashi Usami (Japanese宇佐美 贵 史, Takashi Usami, born May 6, 1992 Nagaokakyo ) is a Japanese football player from Gamba Osaka, who was active between 2011 and 2013 on a lending transaction for the Bundesliga side FC Bayern Munich and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
Career
Association
Usami began at the age of six years at his hometown club SC Nagaokakyo playing football. In 2005 he moved to the youth department of Gamba Osaka and was initially part of the U-15 team. In 2007 he also player of the U-18 team.
On 20 May 2009 Usami made history when he was aged 17 years and 14 days became the youngest player ever to make his debut in the AFC Champions League. In the said match against FC Seoul in addition he also scored his first goal and will thus become the youngest scorer in the competition. Just four days later (13th Round ) he made his debut in the 0-1 defeat at home against the Kashima Antlers in the J. League. Two other inserts ( both defeats) followed in the current season and the year 2009/10, his team won the national cup competition.
In 2010 he played regularly in the Premier League, scoring seven goals in 26 missions. His first league goal was to make the score 2-0 win in the home match against FC Tokyo on 24 April 2010 ( 8 Round ). After the season Usami was voted the best young player of the J. League and thus attracted the attention of several European top clubs up.
In January 2011, the FC Bayern Munich Usami invited for a trial and was planning a commitment. Since Gamba Osaka Usami but not indemnified, a move to Europe for the time being smashed and he also began the 2011 season in the J. League.
As of mid-July 2011 Usami first moved on loan to Bayern Munich. The Bavarians secured an additional option to purchase. 13 August 2011 (2nd Round ), he made his Bundesliga debut when he came on as a substitute in the 1-0 win in the away match against VfL Wolfsburg in 69 minutes for Thomas Müller and replaced in injury time for tactical reasons. In order to gain match practice, he was employed in the first round and in the second team of Bayern in the Regionalliga Süd, where he performed well. His first competitive goal for the first team achieved Usami in the second round match of the DFB Cup against FC Ingolstadt 04 on 26 August 2011, which ended 6-0 for Bayern. In the UEFA Champions League, he debuted on December 7, 2011 at the final group game at Manchester City with a nine-minute short-term use. For the first time in the starting a Bundesliga game he was on 21 April 2012 ( 32nd Round ) in the 2-1 win at Werder Bremen.
For the 2012/13 season Usami moved on loan to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. How Bayern Munich also an option to purchase has been saved. The Kraichgauern he succeeded his first Bundesliga: On September 16, 2012 ( 3rd Round ) he achieved this in the 3:5 defeat in the away match against SC Freiburg with the results for the interim 3:3 in the 76th minute. After the end of the season 2012/13 and the stay in Germany for Usami came to an end, as Hoffenheim had not noticed the option to buy. Usami scored on his return to relegated to the second league in 2012 Gamba Osaka in 18 league games 19 goals and was instrumental in the revival.
National
Usami participated in the U-16 Asia Cup 2008 in Uzbekistan in part, came in four games to two goals (both 5 October 2008 in a 4-0 victory in the match against the selection of Malaysia ) and retired with his team with only the semi-finals 1:2 against the team from South Korea.
For the U- 17 national team Usami was used eleven times and scored four goals. In the U- 17 World Cup Nigeria 2009, he was employed in all three group matches against Mexico, Brazil and the eventual champions Switzerland; as a group Last devoid of points the tournament for him and his team was already finished after the preliminary round.
With the U-20 national team, he participated in the U-19 Asia Cup 2010 in China in part, scored in the three games in which he was employed three goals, but was defeated in the quarter-finals again against the selection of South Korea.
For the two international matches against Peru and the Czech Republic at the annual invitational tournament Kirin Cup Usami was first appointed in early June 2011 in the cadre of senior national team, came in two games but not used. In July 2012, Usami was appointed to the Executive of the Japanese selection for the Olympic Football Tournament 2012 in London. In the third match of Group D he came August 1, 2012 a 0-0 draw against the selection Honduras ' his first appearance in the U -23 of his country; in the quarter and semi-finals he came off the bench for six or 13 minutes.
