Take Me Home (Phil Collins song)

Take Me Home is a song by Phil Collins from 1985, which was written by him and produced by Hugh Padgham. There is also a soundtrack to the series Miami Vice.

History

Take Me Home was released on 25 July 1985 around the world, and from there we won in some countries to success. Just as Do not Lose My Number Collins could make up for that with this song no number-one hit in the United States as One More Night, Sussudio and Separate Lives.

The hit is 5:51 minutes long, appeared in the album No Jacket Required, and on the B - side is the composed piece We Said Hello Goodbye, which is to be found on the B-side of Do not Lose My Number.

The piece is one of many of his fans to the most popular, and is therefore played in almost every concert by Phil Collins. Miss Understandably, many rumors were circulating that the song RELATES of a man who goes home or from the psychological manipulation in George Orwell's 1984. But in an interview told Collins that the hit from a patient is in an insane asylum, and the Backing vocals by both Peter Gabriel and Helen Terry comes. Originally Collins also asked Sting, during the recording of the track Long Long Way to go, whether he would participate in the backing vocals of the song.

Music Video

The music video was done by Jim Yukich directed that to the videos to songs like Sussudio or Do not Lose My Number also took over the director directed the film. In the plot Collins sings this song in different places of the world, including London, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, St. Louis, Memphis, Bremen, Sydney, Moscow and Tokyo. At the end of the video Collins arrives at his house, greeted his wife in the house and this calls out to him where he had been so long. Then he responds with " I've been in Tokyo, Sydney, New York, London ," to which the woman replied, "You were in the pub, right? " And Phil Collins still smugly looks at the camera before he goes into the house.
