Talas American College

The Talas American College ( Talas Amerikan Koleji or Talas Amerikan Ortaokulu in Turkish) was a secondary school for boys and girls in Talas in the province of Kayseri in Turkey.

The college was founded in 1871 by the American missionary James L. Fowle and converted by Henry K. Wingate in 1889 in a postgraduate boarding. Since the completion of a larger building in 1906, the college consisted of two separate school buildings, one for girls and one for boys. The college was after 86 years in which many well-known subjects completed this school closed in 1968.

The building of the boys' school since 1976, is used by the Provincial Office of Sport and Youth. The building of the girls' school, which in 1911 was used as a hospital, is used by the Erciyes University since 1976.
