The Tallahassee Regional Airport is the commercial airport in the U.S. city of Tallahassee in Florida.
History
The airport was opened in 1929. Initially the airport had only a grass runway. In the years 1938 and 1939, the U.S. Air Force was stationed at the airport in Tallahassee.
After the Second World War the airport was constantly expanding. In December 1989, a new, approximately 33 million U.S. dollars expensive, terminal was opened.

The airport is served in domestic traffic in the USA of U.S. Airways, Delta Airlines, Continental Airlines and American Airlines to destinations in several U.S. states.
