Tamir Cohen

Tamir Cohen (Hebrew תמיר כהן; born March 4, 1984 in Tel Aviv) is an Israeli football player. The son of Avi Cohen stands since 2011 at Maccabi Haifa under contract.

Career

Tamir began as his father 's career with the top Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv. In 2003 he was with the club Israeli champion, 2005 he won the State Cup. In January 2007, Cohen moved to the league rivals Maccabi Netanya, left the club but already at the end of the year and was transferred for a transfer fee of £ 650,000 to the English first division club Bolton Wanderers.
