Tana bru

Tana bru ( North Sami Deanu balances ) is the administrative center of the municipality of Tana in the east of Finnmark in northern Norway. The place had 2012 590 inhabitants.

The place got its name from the bridge over the River Tana. The present bridge was built in 1948 and has a main span of 195 meters. The old bridge has been blown up in 1944 during the retreat of the German army. It is also the whole place, including the then central location, which was a little further north, were burned and destroyed. Tana bru as a place has been a leader in the 1960s and 1970s in the region. The bridge is the only crossing over the Tanaelv to its lower 100 km and the only complete relaxation in Norway bridge over this river.

The European Routes E6 and E75 both of which run through the town and over the bridge.

The Church of Tana, which is located 12 km north of Tana bru, was built in 1964 and has a 26 -meter-high free-standing bell tower.

The centering Rail meeting in the place is Tana Miljøbygg, exhibitions, cinema, library and cafeteria.

On the eastern side of the Tanabrücke there is a monument FluA 44 This is made of metal of the old bridge and provides a fishing rod represents the actual tail is 12 m long and the fly one meter. The artwork symbolizes that the Tana River is a good salmon waters.
