Rose Marie " Tantoo " Cardinal ( born July 20, 1950 in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada) is an indigenous actress ( Cree Métis ).

Life

Cardinal grew up with her grandmother in Anzac, Alberta and began her acting career in the local theater scene. It attracted attention in 1986 with her ​​acting performance in abysses of Anne Wheeler, for which she was nominated for a Genie Award for Best Actress.
