Tanzan Shrine
The Tanzan Shrine (Japanese谈 山 神社Tanzan -jinja ) is Sakurai in the Japanese prefecture of Nara in the forest of the mountain Tonomine. This is the famous place in Japan, where 645 AD Fujiwara no Kamatari, who is buried here, has met with Tennō Tenji to work out the plan for the overthrow of Soga no Iruka. The shrine was built for Kamatari son Fujiwara no Fuhito. The Honden is decorated with magnificent ornaments main shrine, which houses the statue of Fujiwara no Kamatari.
