Tarrango is a red grape variety. The new variety was introduced by the Horticultural Research Station of CSRI in Merbein in Victoria, Australia in 1965. It is a cross of varieties Touriga Nacional and Sultana. The breeder of the variety was Alan J. Antcliff. In 2005 201 hectares of vineyards were planted with this variety in Australia.
