Tatiana Ferdman

Tatyana Mikhailovna Ferdman (Russian Татьяна Михайловна Фердман; * July 14, 1957 in Sverdlovsk ) is a Russian table tennis player who belonged in the 1970s, a world leader. She took a title at the World Championships and a title at the European Championships.

Youth

From 1971 to 1975 Ferdman has been nominated every year for the European Youth Championships. They won seven titles: 1972 and 1975 in single, double, 1974 ( with Elmira Antonyan ) and 1975 ( with Nadezhda Meschkowa ) and, in 1971, 1973 and 1974, with the Russian team. With Antonyan it reached 1973, the double final.

Adult

In adults, Ferdman participated in the European Championships in 1974 and 1976. In 1976 she was in Prague with Russian Ladies European Team Champion.

Also Ferdman was represented twice at the World Championships. The most successful she was there in 1975 in Calcutta. Here, she reached in the individual as the only European and doubles with Elmira Antonyan the semifinals. In mixed, it was on the side of Stanislaw Gomoskow world champion. The Russian women's team, she was both 1975 and 1977 sixth.

In the USSR, ranking number one in 1976, she took in the ITTF World Ranking she was mid-1975 Fifth.

Trainer

After the end of her career Ferdman worked - now under the name Tatjana Kutergina - as a trainer. Currently ( at least since 2008), she coached the men's team of TTSC UMMC Ekaterinburg.
