Tatiana Matveyeva

Tatjana Viktorovna Matwejewa (Russian Татьяна Викторовна Матвеева; born 26 February 1985 in Sima ) is a Russian weightlifter. It is much more time medalist at the World and European Championships

Career

Tatjana Matwejewa comes from Sima, Irkutsk Oblast, Siberia. There she began together with Svetlana Podobedowa than adolescents with the weight lifting. It developed quickly and was already 18 years old to the best Russian weightlifters in the weight category to 69 kg body weight.

As Russian Junior Champion in 2003 it was used already in the World Cup of senior in Hermosillo / Mexico and finished there in the above Weight category with 227.5 kg ( 97.5 to 130 ) the 4th Place. In poking their achieved with 130 kg even winning the World Championship silver medal.

2004 occupied Tatjana Matwejewa in the Russian championship in the class up to 69 kg 245 kg ( 107.5 to 137.5 ) 2nd place behind the Ossetin Sarema Kassajewa who came to 252.5 kg. It was used in the same year at the European Championship of seniors in Kiev, where he obtained 245 kg ( 107.5 to 137.5 ) with which they occupied after the Turk Sibel Şimşek, 247.5 kg, the 2nd place. In the Russian championship 2005 Tatyana Matwejewa came with 252.5 kg ( 107.5 to 145 ) behind Sarema Kasajewa, 265 kg, and Olga Kiseljewa, 257.5 kg only on the 3rd place. It was therefore used in scoring this year only at the Junior European Championships in Trencin and won there in the class up to 69 kg at 261 kg ( 114-147 ) challenges the title ahead of Nadezhda Jewstjuchina, 256 kg ( 115-141 ).

In 2006, Tatjana Matwejewa received in Russia in addition to the already mentioned athletes with Oksana Sliwenko another rival, which showed excellent performance and at the Russian Cup in 2006 in front of her.
