Tatsuhiko Kubo

Tatsuhiko Kubo (Japanese久保 竜 彦Tatsuhiko Kubo, born June 18, 1976 in Chukuzen, Fukuoka ) is a Japanese football player.

Kubo started his professional career at Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Since 2003, the striker played for the Yokohama Marinos until he moved to Yokohama FC 2007. Since 2008 he is back at Sanfrecce Hiroshima. In 2003 and 2004 he won the Japanese championship with Yokohama.

Tatsuhiko Kubo played since 1998 32 caps for the Japanese national football team, where he scored eleven goals. At the Confederations Cup 2001, he finished with the team to second place after the team had lost in the final against France.

The nomination for the 2006 World Cup in Germany Kubo had surprisingly leave his place at Seiichiro Maki of JEF United Ichihara Chiba. Zico justified its decision by arguing that Kubo still do not see in top shape physically after his long injury.
