Tatyana Veshkurova
Tatjana Leonidovna Weschkurowa (Russian Татьяна Леонидовна Вешкурова; born September 23, 1981 in Perm ) is a Russian athlete. She was European Champion Season 2006.
Life
Tatjana Weschkurowa had lost at the Russian Championships 2006 at the 400 -meter run against Svetlana Pospelowa. At the European Championships in 2006 Weschkurowa was the strongest Russian and won in 50.15 s the silver medal behind the Bulgarian Vanya Stambolowa that s only remaining below the 50 -second limit in this race in 49.85. The Russian 4 x 400 - meter relay in the occupation of Svetlana Pospelowa, Natalia Ivanova, Olga and Tatiana Saizewa Weschkurowa won in 3:25,12 minutes before the squadrons of Belarus and Poland.
2007 ran Weschkurowa at the European Indoor Championships in Birmingham in 51.96 s on the fifth place. In the outdoor season, she missed at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka in 50.71 s the finals in the individual competition. In relay competition, the team from the USA won before the respective national record current seasons from Jamaica and the United Kingdom. In 3:20,25 min, the Russian squadron with Lyudmila Litvinova, Natalia Nazarova, Tatiana and Natalia Weschkurowa Antjuch finished fourth.
At the Olympic Games in 2008 Weschkurowa won with the Russian squadron in 3:23,71 minutes the first heat. In the final, she was not used; because their teammates in the finals took second place behind the U.S. relay team, also received Weschkurowa for their inflow insert the Olympic silver medal.
In March 2013, she won the silver medal in the 4 x 400 -meter relay at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden.
