Taxiarchis Fountas

Taxiarhis Fountas (Greek Ταξιάρχης Φούντας, born 4 September 1995 Messolonghi ) is a Greek football player.

Career

Association

2011 moved Taxiarhis Fountas of Achelous Neohori for AEK Athens. He made his debut for AEK 17 March 2012 against Asteras Tripolis in the Super League. On October 28, 2012 Fountas scored in the 1-0 victory of AEK Athens FC to the Platanias his first goal in the top Greek football league. After AEK Athens had to descend due to insolvency in the third league signed him the FC Red Bull Salzburg. There, however, he was only eligible to play in late August, as for players under the age of 18 for an individual license of UEFA is required. As a cooperative player he is entitled to use for the FC Liefering. 2014 he was awarded for the spring season at the SV Grödig.

National

In qualifying for the U-17 European Championship 2012 Taxiarhis Fountas was on 12 October 2011 for the Greek U-17 national team against Israel in his debut and scored one goal. Against Iceland and Switzerland, he completed over the next five days, two more U-17 internationals.
