Teal Bunbury

Teal Bunbury (born 27 February 1990 in Hamilton, Ontario ) is an American- Canadian football player.

Youth and College

Bunbury was born in 1990 in Hamilton, Ontario in Canada. His mother is from the U.S. and his father, former professional football player Alex Bunbury, is Canadian. At the age of two, he moved with his family to England, as his father played for West Ham United. One year later, Alex Bunbury joined Marítimo Funchal in Portugal. As Teal was ten years old, he came back to the United States. From then on, he lived in Prior Lake, Minnesota, and attended Shattuck -St. Mary's High School in Faribault. Before he went to college, he played for Apple Valley Juventus.

At the University of Akron, he played for two years in the college team and was employed in 48 games. In the 2008 season, he scored six goals in 23 games, and thus became the second best scorer of the team. For the 2009 season the former striker Steve Zakuani left the favorite team and Bunbury was used in all games, including the final Division I Men 's College Cup. With 17 goals, he was the top scorer of the year in college football. During the season, Bunbury received many awards. Club career
