Tedeschi Trucks Band

The Tedeschi Trucks Band is an American blues-rock band, and the common bond of Susan Tedeschi and her husband Derek Trucks.

Band History

By 2009, Tedeschi and Trucks had been separated with their own bands on tour. Then she took a summer tour together as Soul Stew Revival with guest musicians and individual musicians from their respective bands. When she participated in shortly afterwards Imagine Project by Herbie Hancock with a contribution, they exhibited their former accompanying musicians, the eleven-member Tedeschi Trucks Band and subsequently decided to retain the lineup in order to tour in the future as a family with their children can.

In 2010 she put together the album Revelator, after they had signed a recording contract with Sony. The album was an international success, reaching # 1 on the Blue charts in the U.S. and other official chart positions, for example, in New Zealand and Germany. In 2012 it won a Grammy in the category Best blues album. In between, the album Everybody's Talkin ' appeared ' with live recordings of songs that were not included on the first album. The album was also successful internationally.
