Teel Bivins

Miles Teel Bivins ( born November 22, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas, † October 26, 2009 ) was an American politician and ambassador.

Bivins studied until 1970 at Tulane University in New Orleans and attended Southern Methodist University in connection in Dallas, where he graduated in 1974. He was elected as a Republican to the Senate from Texas in 1989 and belonged to him for the next 15 years, until 2004 when he was appointed in Sweden by President George W. Bush as Ambassador of the United States, at. During Bush's presidency campaigns in the years 2000 and 2004 had been Bivins of its most successful fundraiser. In 2006, Bivins resigned for health reasons from his post as ambassador.
