Temagami

Temagami [ tənɑgɛmi ] is a municipality in northeastern Ontario, Canada in the Nipissing District. Temagami is located on Lake Temagami and has 893 inhabitants ( as of 2001) on an area of 1906 km ².

History

Temagami was founded by Daniel O'Connor. In 1900 it was discovered in Temagami gold, silver and nickel. Daniel O'Connor Built in 1903, the Ronnoco hotel, but burned down in 1973.
