The film inverni Dieci ( Ten Winter ) is an Italian- Russian production. It is the government's thesis of Italian author, screenwriter and director Valerio Mieli at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. The film opened the festival section Controcampo Italiano at the 66th International Film Festival of Venice from 2 to 12 September 2009. It tells the relationship between two students who discover their love for ten years while growing up. They accompanied the gambling mainly in wintry Venice film in ten cuttings.

Action

In winter 1999, the eighteen- year-old Camilla comes from Valdobbiadene to Russian studies to Venice, where it meets the vaporetto across the lagoon to the same age students Silvestro. This follows her, intentionally missed the last vaporetto, Camilla and asks to be allowed to stay with her. This is the beginning of a love that grows slowly and is revealed only after ten years in which both have matured. The ten snapshots are as surprising as life itself. The film accompanies both in their academic life in Venice, to Moscow, and to a rural wedding in Russia. They live other relationships, they form a living community. They are from time to time enemies, friends, acquaintances, lovers. You are even close, sometimes they separate once more. Every winter, as it opens a window that yields insight into the lives of the two. Always their paths cross until they grow up and realize their love. Worked out nice are the contrasting characters of the two main characters. Camilla is studious and reserved, Silvestro free and contradictory. In his film, the director and his PhD philosopher Valerio Mieli tells his autobiographical influenced history " with ease and a sugar dust of poetry." The film avoids the tourist Venice. Many scenes take place on the water. The film shows Dorsoduro, the Arsenal, St. Mark's Square at night, San Pietro di Castello, the fish market in Rialto and San Giacomo dall'Orio always deserted in winter.

Criticism and reception

Dieci inverni received mostly positive reviews. Thus, the press praised the view of the everyday Venice. The Swiss theater portal Cineman highlights the "excellent occupied leading roles " out. "The Story " ... " should appeal to a larger audience. " Specific mention is made of the " depth" of the film " without hesitation and exaggeration ". " The director gives us brush strokes of pure art, as in a picture, the scene is immortal. " Also, the " brilliant dialogues " are emphasized.
