Tenywa Bonseu

Sulaiman Tenywa Bonseu ( born October 28, 1976 in Kampala ) is a Ugandan footballer, who was most recently with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds under contract. For the Ugandan national football team, he is also active.

Club career

Bonseu began his career at Express FC in his native Uganda, before he moved to the U.S. to play there at Martin Methodist College. His first professional contract he signed with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, who played in the A-League. Bonseu played there for two seasons before moving to the Major League Soccer for the Chicago Fire SC. In 2001, he played at Columbus Crew, Dallas Burn in 2002 and 2003, and the 2004 season he went to the MetroStars from New York. After Bonseus contract was not renewed there, he went to the Rochester Raging Rhinos, who also played in New York, but in the USL First Division. After three years there he went back to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Since the end of the season 2009 he has been without a club.

National

Bonseu came for the Ugandan national football team, among others, in qualifying for the 2006 World Cup and in qualifying for the 2010 World Cup for use.
