Terry Winters

Terry Winters ( born 1949 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American painter.

Life

Winters made ​​in 1971 graduated from the Pratt Institute in New York with a Bachelor of Fine Arts ( BFA). Only after the expiration of ten years, the artist had in 1982 his first solo exhibition in New York's Sonnabend Gallery, where he further exhibited for many years. Today ( 2011), his works are owned by major museums and his works have been exhibited worldwide.

Winters is represented in New York by the Matthew Marks Gallery.
