Tetyana Hamera-Shmyrko

Tetyana Hamera - Schmyrko (Ukrainian Тетяна Гамера - Шмирко, English transcription Tetyana Hamera - Shmyrko, . Born June 1, 1983 in Hrada, Ternopil Oblast ) is a Ukrainian marathon runner.

In 2011 she won the Krakow marathon and came at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu on the 15th Place.

The following year she posed as second in the Osaka Women's Marathon with 2:24:46 h a national record and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. In preparation, she was fifth at the Prague Half Marathon. In the Olympic race, she worked after the collapse of the top group of No. 23 at km 25 to finish in fifth place ahead of and improved her national record to 2:24:32 h

2013 she won the Osaka Women's Marathon, but could not h reconquer national record, which you Olena Schurchno had snatched despite a further improvement to 2:23:58.

2014 she defended her title in Osaka.
