Tevita Momoedonu

Ratu Tatu Tevita Momoedonu ( born February 4, 1941 in Vanua Balavu ) is a Fijian politician, who was Prime Minister of Fiji twice for a very short time.

Political career

1999 Momoedonu was selected for the Fiji Labour Party in the House of Representatives of Fiji. Immediately he was also appointed to the cabinet. As on 19 May 2000 George Speight stormed parliament in a coup, Momoedonu was the only minister not present. The Prime Minister Mahendra Chaudhry and all other ministers were taken hostage.
