Textile manufacturing

The textile industry or textile technology includes all technical installations and methods for the production of textiles. The associated job title is a textile engineer.

These include, in order of execution:

  • Fiber crop ( plant fiber ) and Schur ( animal fibers) or synthetic fiber manufacturing ( chemicals and regenerated ) and the further processing of all kinds of fibers, optionally bleaching and dyeing
  • The spinning of fibers into yarn, optionally bleaching and dyeing
  • Production of fabrics made from the yarn by weave
  • Stitch-forming processes such as knitting, crochet, needle Bind
  • Frisk
  • Braiding and knotting
  • Or other crafts.

All were or can be both technically be carried out industrially in manufacturing or these techniques.
