Thái Nguyên Province

Thái Nguyên with capital of the same Thái Nguyên is a province in the northern mountains of Vietnam. It extends across 3,562.82 sq km and has about one million inhabitants. Gets you 1.13 % of the area and 1.14 % of the population of Vietnam.

Thái Nguyên borders the provinces of Bac Can the north, Vĩnh Phúc Tuyen Quang and the west and Lạng Sơn and Bắc Giang in the east. To the south it borders the capital of Ha Noi. As social, economic and political center of Vietnam's north-east is Thái Nguyên the link between the northeast and the Red River Delta dar. passenger and freight transport between the regions is done via road and rail links as well as waterways. Thái Nguyên is also home to various ethnic groups and cultural as well as academic center of the north.
