The Adventures of Alix

Alix is a program begun in 1948 French- Belgian comic series.

Action

Alix Graccus is the son of a Gallic chief who is a slave on the Orient to Rome, where he is adopted because of its bravery of Honorus Galla Graccus. In favor of Caesar standing, he is chosen for missions that lead him to the limits of the known world. In his travels, he is accompanied by the young Egyptians Anak. Several times he fought against the intrigues of wily Arbace and his brother Adrocles.

Background

Jacques Martin wrote and drew the adventure series. His successor as signatories were Rafael Morales, Cédric Hervan, Christophe Simon, Ferry, Marco Venanzi and Marc Jailloux. For the text sequentially François Maingoval, Patrick Weber, Marco Venanzi, Michel Lafon, François Corteggiani and Géraldine Ranouil were responsible. The series appeared in 1948-1980 in the Belgian and 1948 to 1985 in the French edition of Tintin. Le Lombard began in 1956 with the albums edition, which was continued in 1965 by Casterman. Carlsen and Feest published a part of the albums in the German language area. The first two episodes provided by Feest in the series Adventure Classics. Casterman and cult released a new edition.
