The Alpha Band
The alpha band was a rock band that was founded in July 1976 by T -Bone Burnett, David Mansfield and Steven Soles, who had previously played together as a backing group in Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue.
The alpha band signed a contract with Arista well-endowed, but received none of their three albums released more attention. Even critics saw The Alpha band. In 1979 the band broke up. T -Bone Burnett made himself both as a producer and as a studio musician, a name. David Mansfield applied on an ad for Michael Cimino's film Heaven's Gate ( Heaven's Gate ) for a supporting role, then awarded the contract for the film music and began a career as a film composer. Steven Soles, which is also seen in Heaven's Gate in a supporting role, only in the context of Christian rock music some notoriety reached.
