The Candy Skins was a Britpop band from Oxford, England, which was founded in 1989.

Band History

The debut single, the Candy Skins, Submarine song earned them a record deal in 1990 with Geffen Records A 1991 follow the first album I'm In Space. Submarine Song came to the U.S. in " Modern Rock Tracks", which are determined by Billboard magazine, up to # 9

In 1993, the second album Fun?, The resulting single from the Wembley was also listed in " Modern Rock Tracks " on # 12.

Two years later changed The Candy Skins for British label Ultimate, on the 1997 album Sunday Morning Fever was released. In June 1997, the single reached number 34 Monday Morning in the UK charts.

The Single Feed It was selected in 1998 for the soundtrack of the movie " Waterboy ". That same year, the fourth and last album of the Candy Skins, Death of a Minor TV celebrity appeared. The band has since dissolved.
